CHRISTMAS TREE FESTIVAL - The Mayor, Coun. Peter Lewis will officially open Holy Trinity Church's Christmas Tree Festival, which has gained its place as one of the town's spectacular events, next Saturday (12th) at 11 am and will be open until 4 pm. The Festival will also be open next Monday and Tuesday from 12 noon to 4 pm, Wednesday (16th) from 10.30 am to 2.30, Thursday and Friday (17th and 18th) from 2.30 to 6.30 pm and finally on Saturday (19th) from 12 noon to 4 pm. As usual, Festive refreshments will be available - welcome to all - croeso cynnes i bawb.

Aberporth Flower Arrangement Club

Members met in the Village Hall on November 13th 2009 to hold their Annual General Meeting. Chairman Mrs Pam McGrath received apologies from them who were indisposed, and wished them well.

King George V Playing Field

The King George V Playing Field Association of Newcastle Emlyn is delighted to report that its annual Bonfire & Firework Extravaganza at the town’s castle ruins has netted another £900 in funds to be spent on the new playground.
