Rodney Bewes in Three Men in a Boat

The iconic Rodney Bewes, prehaps best remembered for his superb role as Bob Ferris in hit TV sitcom The Likely Lads (1960’s) and Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads (1970’s), brings his much-admired adaptation of Jerome K Jerome’s Three Men in a Boat to Theatr Mwldan on Friday 10th September at 7.30pm.

Prince of Persia

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (12A) comes to Theatr Mwldan for the half term holiday. Set in the mystical lands of Persia, a rogue prince (Jake Gyllenhaal) and a mysterious princess (Gemma Arterton) race against dark forces to safeguard an ancient dagger capable of releasing the Sands of Time -- a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world. This handsome and fast paced adventure is aimed squarely at a family audience, and there are plenty of laughs to balance the action. With impressive athleticism and plenty of comic banter, heroic Jake Gyllenhaal’s Prince Dastan teams up with Gemma Arterton’s Princess to get stuck into some fierce fighting and save humanity from a sandy end.
