NEW QUAY capped a fine season by lifting the South Cards Cup with an emphatic 7-1 win over Llanboidy Reserves at Ffostrasol's Troedyrhiw Park on Friday.

Steffan Williams scored four goals in a dominant display from the Seasiders, with Aaron McCarthy, Dylan Morgans and Glenn Baldwin also netting for the division two leaders.

New Quay had reached the final with a 1-0 win over Costcutter Ceredigion League division two title rivals Lampeter Town on Tuesday, with Oliver Edwards scoring the only goal.

New Quay are guaranteed promotion, but Lampeter could pip them to the division two title if they win their last two games against Crannog Reserves and St Dogmaels Reserves.

Llechryd are set to finish runners-up to Ffostrasol in division one after goals from Steffan Davies, Cory Leonard-Davies and Oliver Morgan earned them a 3-2 win over Dewi Stars.

Steffan Owens scored twice for Stars, who have finished in the bottom two, whilst it ended all square at 1-1 in the match between third-placed Crymych and Cardigan Town.

Llechyrd will face Cardigan in the quarter-finals of the Bay Cup on Tuesday night, after a goal from Cory Leonard-Davies sealed a 1-0 win over Crymych on Wednesday evening.

Cian Edwards scored a hat-trick and Owain Patterson once for champions Ffostrasol in their 4-1 quarter-final win against Pencader, who had scored through Connor Timms.

A few days earlier, goals from Dion Phillip, with a brace, and Carwyn Morgan secured a 3-1 second round win over Llandysul, with Thomas Fayers scoring for the home side.

Ffostrasol face St Dogmaels in the semi-finals after goals from Luke Jones, Elliot Wigley, Adam Williams, Callum Davies and Jordan Owens sealed a 5-2 win over Felinfach.

In the other quarter-final tie, goals from James Brown and Daniel Evans earned Bargod Rangers progress with a 2-1 win at Crannog, who scored through Andrii Solyliak.

Meanwhile Felinfach Youth lifted the Ceredigion Youth Cup with a 6-2 extra-time win over St Dogmaels, who were level after 90 minutes through Lewis Morgan and Beck Balmer.

Josh Davies finished the match with a hat-trick, and Rhys Williams, Cadfan Jones and Osian Kersey also netted for the Milken in a keenly-fought final at Llandysul.
