Cardigan Sea Angling Club held their annual dinner and awards night at Cardigan Golf Club on Friday. The evening was a great success with 30 guests attending.
A total of 28 club awards were made including:
Weekend League Champion – Kevin Copeland.
The new 'Cardigan Windows' Evening league – Kevin Copeland.
Ladies League Champion – Laura Webb.
Junior League most species – Bobby James
Best shore caught fish – Bob Butt with a 10lb 3oz bass.
Best boat caught fish – Kevin Copeland with a 96 cm bull huss.
The 'Castaways Cardigan' Three part species hunt won by Mal Ruff.
Species of the Year – Laura Web with a bull huss 108 cms.
Annual most species caught – Mal Ruff.
Longest bag trophy went to Paul Cutler with 11.76 mtrs of fish caught at Fishguard.
‘Flattie’ Bash trophy went to Caspian Prentice.
The club thanked Castaways Cardigan for their generous donation of raffle prizes, Broadside Charters of Dale who donated a prize of a shark fishing trip and the Golf Club staff for providing wonderful food and service.
