With five defeats in six outings, League 1 West joint basement boys Crymych face a daunting task on Saturday when visiting joint leaders Felinfoel.

The Llanelli high-flyers have won all seven games, including a stunning performance last weekend when springing a 52-33 away win over joint leaders Dunvant.

The Preselimen, who share bottom slot with Llanelli Wanderers, are through to the next stage of the WRU National Plate when hosting Tondu of League 1 West Central on December 9.

But despite the cup run it is obviously the bread and butter of the league that is their priority but it would be an upset of major proportions if they were to get anything from the visit to Llanelli.

Newcastle Emlyn of the Championship found some form with a 37-17 win over visitors Skewen but as clubs take a break for the autumn internationals the Red and Whites are third from bottom.

Next up for Alex Williams and colleagues is an away game against high-flying Tata Steel, followed with a home encounter with the students of Cardiff Metropolitan University and a final game of the year at home against Narberth.

Even at this stage of the season any hopes of promotion in League 3 West A have almost certainly evaporated for Cardigan who crashed 27-5 at home against Aberaeron on Saturday.

An away defeat at the hands of league whipping boys Llangwm this weekend would be unthinkable, especially as the Wasps lost 85-12 at home on Saturday and have picked up only one point from seven outings.
