Cardigan bowlers are preparing for the biggest game since the Gwbert Road green was officially opened in May 1966 when visiting their Harlequins counterparts in Aberdare, Rhondda Cynon Taf for a Welsh Bowling Association Carruthers Shield quarter-final tie this Saturday.
Paul Monders and colleagues reached the last eight for the first time after a tremendous performance in notching a nine-shot win over visitors Skewen.
