CARDIGAN Golf Club Ladies held their weekly winter Stapleford Competition on December 8.
Gloria Parsons Sally Yeoman and Anne Davies came in first place with Rhian Hives Marion Green and Joan in second.
The wind and rain was still making play difficult for the ladies.
On December 15, the ladies turned out in force for their newly appointed Captain Lorna Thompson's Drive in and Christmas dinner, the winners on the day were Helena Horrocks Gloria Parsons and Diane. More than 40 ladies turned up despite the weather.
On Tuesday, December 29, only 14 ladies ventured out in the awful weather, with Nicola Ward Pam Perry and Gloria Parsons coming in first with a 49.
