A Cardigan locksmith who set up in business a few months ago has hit out and offered a reward for information leading to a court conviction after his premises were attacked at the weekend.

The incident happened at Cardi Locks in Morgan Street between 1am and 1.30am this morning when a plate glass window was shattered.

There was a large amount of blood outside the premises and police scenes of crime officers were at the scene on Monday.

Shop proprietor Steve Curran said: “When you’ve just started in business this is the last thing you need.

“I am offering a reward to anyone who has information and is prepared to inform myself or the police,” he said.
