Machinery valued at several thousand pounds has over the past week been stolen from Blaenporth. The machines belonging to a plant operator in the locality were taken from roadside fields.
They are described as a Sumotumo SH60-2 seven tonne track machine, yellow in colour, a 1977 model carrying the serial number 1544; and a three tonne CK2.8 mini digger, brown/orange in colour, manufactured in 2000 and bearing the serial number 005575.
Police believe the culprits must have used a trailer to remove the machines.
