THE fatality toll at Cardigan's notorious Tesco junction has now risen to three with the death of 91-year-old motorist George Blake at the weekend.
Mr Blake MBE, a widower with no children, of Heol y Graig, Aberporth, was involved in a collision at the junction a week ago last Thursday.
A former chairman of Aberporth Community Council, Mr Blake was renowned for his contribution to village life. The public funeral will be held at St Cynwyl's Church, Aberporth, on Saturday at 10am followed by a private cremation.
Donations to the RNLI can be made care of funeral director Colin Phillips, Hyfrydle, Gwbert Road, Cardigan.
