More than 1,000 people visited Cardigan Castle on Saturday.

Nearly 2,000 people came through the gates during the four day limited opening last weekj.

Ceredigion County Council officers say they were overwhelmed by the response which saw queues forming to enter the castle and Castle Green House.

A questionnaire has been compile to gauge public reaction:

1. Castle Green restored and converted as a permanent exhibition space and offices for the National Eisteddfod.
