THE Tivy-Side's successful Castle in Crisis campaign has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
The Tivy-Side is one of six local newspapers that are in with a chance of winning 'Community Campaign of the Year' in the UK Regional Press Awards.
The winner will be announced at a special awards luncheon at London's Hilton Hotel next Friday (July 4).
It's not the first time the Tivy-Side team have attended the awards - the newspaper was shortlisted for 'Weekly Newspaper of the Year' in 2000.
Tivy-Side editor Aneurin Evans said: "We are absolutely delighted that the hard work and effort of the Castle in Crisis campaign has been recognised by our peers.
"For a small weekly paper we are blazing a trail when it comes to national recognition!"
