AN exhibition showing what exists in Cardigan Castle and Castle Green House opens on Friday in Cardigan Upper Market.

The exhibition - put together by local historians Glen Johnson and Keith Ladd - gives a detailed look at what's in the castle now, how it was in the past and how it could be in the future.

Castle owner Ceredigion County Council has been anxious to get the public involved - and to this end there will be comment forms available plus a chance to put your name down as a potential castle volunteer.

It's the first time that such an intensive and detailed exhibition has been put on about the castle - and comes on the second anniversary of the Tivy-Side's launch of the Castle in Crisis campaign.

Anyone who has any memories of or artefacts relating to the castle is urged to get in touch as historians organise the castle archives.

The exhibition, which will be opened by Ceredigion County Council leader Cllr Dai Lloyd Evans at 2pm, has been sponsored by local computer company The Red Hot Group and Cardigan-based Afon Display Systems and has also been helped by T Mullins Building Services Ltd.
