Want to take a look inside Cardigan Castle? Now's your chance!
Castle owners Ceredigion County Council are opening the doors next Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (November 12-15).
The council has carried out essential works and is happy for visitors to tour the castle before further work gets underway.
"We see this as a window of opportunity for local people to have a look inside their castle," said council regeneration officer Ruth Davies.
Free accompanied tours will take place from the castle gates between the hours of 10am and 3pm, taking visitors around the battlements, past the medieval towers, round the back of Castle Green House and then into the Regency mansion itself for a quick peek into the two ground floor front rooms. Suitable footwear is recommended.
Schools and local societies will be taken around separately and should contact Ruth Davies on (01239) 615806 or 07968 399505 to make arrangements. During the castle open days free parking will be available courtesy of JJ Morris at the mart car park.
