What is thought to be a medieval stone wall - possibly one of the outer walls of the castle - has been uncovered at Castle Cottages.
A team from Cambria Archaeology have uncovered the slightly curved structure a few days into a two-week dig in the back yard of the cottages next door to Cardigan Castle.
See next week's Tivy-Side for a full report into the dig.
