Cardigan Castle campaign has stretched its wings across the Atlantic thanks to local bard Dic Jones.
Mr Jones travelled to the US to give a St David's Day talk to the Welsh American Society in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Tivy-Side deputy editor Sue Lewis presented him with a framed picture of the castle, two castle history books and copies of the Tivy-Side's castle supplement to pass on to the society's president.
