SEISIOG Cymro 61st is an out and out champion as his record back home at Dancoed, Cwmgwaun, Fishguard, shows.

After only recently successfullly defending his breed championship crown for owners Gwynfryn and Marian Phillips, at the Royal Welsh, the bull rated by them as being as quiet as any church mouse emerged overall winning beef inter-breed champion at Cardigan Show.

Seisiog Cymro 61 was part of the breed pair that brought the Phillips' the coveted FitzHugh Cup for the best pair of beef animals at Llanelwedd.

"We only started developing our pedigree herd 12 years ago and in that time they really have kept our name up there where we exhibitors all strive to be," said Mrs Phillips.

Reserve supreme champ of the beef classes was 'Sundial Lewis', a Simmental bull owned and shown by Meirion and Susan Jones, Llanfynydd.
