Cardiff Magistrates Court ordered the man to make the payments
A LLANDYSUL man has been ordered to pay more than £2,500 in unpaid child support.
The man – who cannot be named to protect the identity of the child – was ordered by Cardiff Magistrates Court on December 7 to pay £2,798.42 in unpaid child support and enforcement fees for the period between May 27, 2017, and September 1, 2019.
The court granted an order submitted by the Child Maintenance Service for payment as it was satisfied that the defendant owed the money, had been given sufficient notice, and had failed to pay one or more instalments, with the payments still not having been made.
