A NUMBER of Santas descended on Llandysul recently to raise money for a good cause.

The Llandysul Santa run was held on Saturday, December 2, and despite the bitterly cold weather, a number of runners took part, getting dressed up as Santas, elves and even a Christmas tree to take on the 5km route.

The route took runners through the town itself and the surrounding country lanes.

The run was organised by Llandysul Paddlers Canoeing Centre and Club and raised money for Calon Tysul leisure centre.
