LLANDYSUL turned into a festive place to be this past weekend as the Christmas fair took place in the town.

Despite Saturday’s wet and cold weather, the main street was taken over with stalls selling a range of food, drinks, local produce and gifts. The local shops were decorated with Christmas decorations and some stayed open later than usual for shoppers to make the most of shopping local.

There was also entertainment from Llandysul Community Gospel Choir who performed festive songs and carols, youth drama group Theatr Fach Llandysul put on a street theatre style show and there was a festive puppet show.

The finale saw Santa parade through the streets on his sleigh – which was drawn by a vintage car.
