RESIDENTS of Aberporth and motorists face four days of disruption this week due to a road closure running through the centre of the village.
Ceredigion County Council have confirmed that a section of the B4333 at Ffordd Newydd and Ffordd yr Odyn will be closed for re-surfacing works from Tuesday, November 21 until Friday, November 24.
Richards Bros bus operators say that as a result of the roadworks it will not be possible for the T5 coastal service to travel through the village.
“There will be a feeder minibus running between 7am and 6pm Tuesday to Friday to allow passengers from Parcllyn and Aberporth Church to connect with the T5 service for Aberystwyth and Cardigan,” said a spokesperson for the company.
“The times for passengers wishing to travel from Aberporth Church & Parcllyn to Cardigan will change.”
The company say there will be a pick-up for schoolchildren travelling to Cardigan at 7.45am outside the Morlan.
