A NUMBER of speeding drivers from the Teifi area or who were caught speeding in the Teifi area have been in court recently.

Anthony Keith Davies, 57, of Ffostrasol, Llandysul, was found guilty of speeding by Llanelli Magistrates Court on September 11.

He was caught on February 9 doing 41mph in a Mercedes Sprinter on the B4333 Hermon where the limit was 30mph.

He was given four points on his licence and ordered to pay £440 fine, £178 surcharge and £90 costs.

Elin Mair Davies-Griffith, 23, of Hillfield Place, Parcllyn, Cardigan, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on September 11.

She was caught on February 9 doing 43mph in a Vauxhall Corsa on the A484 Cardigan Road, Newcastle Emlyn, where the limit was 30mph.

She was given four points on her licence and ordered to pay £184 fine, £73 surcharge and £90 costs.

Stuart Francis Mayes, 48, of Llanwnnen Road, Lampeter, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on September 11.

He was caught on February 9 doing 47mph in a Land Rover Freelander on the B4337 Cribyn, where the limit was 30mph.

He was given four points on his licence and ordered to pay £533 fine, £213 surcharge and £90 costs.

David Malcolm Evans, 56, of Meidrim, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on September 14.

He was caught on February 17 doing 35mph in a Mitsubishi L200 on the A484 Saron, Llandysul, where the limit was 30mph.

He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £166 fine, £66 surcharge and £90 costs.

Kimberley Ann Rowlands, 34, of Coed y Bryn, Llandysul, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on September 14.

She was caught on February 15 doing 37mph in a Nissan Qashqai on the A475 Aberbanc, Ceredigion, where the limit was 30mph.

She was given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £40 fine, £16 surcharge and £90 costs.

Kelly Williams, 40, of Emlyn Terrace, Pensarn, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on September 14.

She was caught on February 15 doing 48mph in a BMW X1 on the A485 Cwmann, Lampeter, where the limit was 30mph.

She was given six points on her licence and ordered to pay £570 fine, £228 surcharge and £90 costs.
