A WELSH language adaptation of a popular comedic play will be performed in Cardigan in September.

Theatr Clwyd will be bringing the Welsh language adaptation of Fleabag to Mwldan.

The show – initially written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge – is an award-winning comedic play which follows a Welsh woman’s chaotic journey towards having nothing to lose.

It is described as "a filthy, funny and unfiltered show which finds the woman struggling with relationships and a guinea pig café business not going to plan."

Fleabag was adapted into Welsh by Branwen Davies and will be performed by Leah Gaffey.

Fleabag was initially performed by writer Phoebe at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe before being turned into an award-winning BBC TV series, picking up BAFTAs, Emmys and a Golden Globe.

Fleabag will be performed at Mwldan on Tuesday, September 12 at 7.30pm. The show is suitable for those aged 16 and above as it contains strong language, sexual references and there are references to death and suicide.

Tickets are priced at £15 (£14) and are available now from www.mwldan.co.uk (24/7) or by phoning our box office between 12 - 8pm Tue - Sun 01239 621 200.
