THREE drivers with links to the Llandysul area have recently been in court for speeding offences.

Two are from Llandysul, with the third committing the offence in the area.

Rose Dorothy Rachael Le Geyt, 29, of Henllan, Llandysul, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on August 17.

She was caught on January 19 doing 39mph in a Peugeot Partner on the A478 Templeton, Pembrokeshire, where the limit is 30mph.

She was given three points on her licence and ordered to pay £125 fine, £50 surcharge and £90 costs.

Ashley Herbert Adams, 40, of Vintin Terrace, Porthcawl, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on August 21.

He was caught on January 23 doing 45mph in a Mercedes Sprinter on the A484 Saron, Llandysul, where the limit is 30mph.

He was given five points on his licence and ordered to pay £192 fine, £76 surcharge and £90 costs.

Damian Allan Jones, 44 of Pentrecwrt Road, Llandysul, was found guilty of speeding by Llanelli Magistrates Court on August 21.

He was caught on January 22 doing 79mph in an Audi A6 on the A48 Nantycaws where the limit is 70mph.

He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £220 fine, £88 surcharge and £90 costs.
