THREE drivers have been in court recently for speeding offences.

Steven Ross Furness, 40, of Llandyfriog, Newcastle Emlyn, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 28.

He was caught on January 7, doing 36mph in a Volkswagen Scirocco on the A475 Llandyfriog, where the limit is 30mph.

He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £100 fine and £40 surcharge.

Martin Morse, 30, of Meiros Lane, Velindre, Llandysul, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on August 8.

He was caught on January 12 doing 36mph in a BMW 330D on Colby Road, Burry Port where the limit is 30mph.

He was given three points on his licence and ordered to pay £66 fine and £34 costs.

Sarah Robson, 36, of Milburn Close, Rhoose, admitted speeding at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 25.

She was caught on January 4 doing 46mph in a Nissan Qashqai on the B4337 Cribyn, Lampeter, where the limit is 30mph.

She was given four points on her licence and ordered to pay £240 fine, £96 surcharge and £90 costs.
