Criw CICA has earned itself a reputation over the years as a group of youngsters who certainly know how to perform.
And 2023 was no exception when they once again took to the stage at Theatr Mwldan to celebrate the return of Gwyl Fawr Aberteifi Eisteddfod.
Over 60 children from schools in south Ceredigion performed the new original musical 'Pwy Bua'r Gan' on Tuesday and Thursday evening following weeks of careful training by director Non Davies. The children range in age from five to 15.
"CICA was formed some 11 years before Covid, and throughout that time we saw it grow into an exceptionally strong group which shows off the true musical and stage talents that these children have," said Non.
"But because this was the first time the children were able to get back together for four years, this year's production has been particularly difficult as many of the children have never performed on a stage like this before.
"But their performance this week has been truly fantastic."
