THERE is a chance to see a West End musical in Cardigan in July!

Mwldan will be screening West End stage stow Heathers: The Musical on two dates only.

The stage show is based on the 1989 film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater and follows Westerberg High School pupil Veronica Sawyer who is taken under the wings of the three beautiful, yet cruel Heathers, allowing her popularity to increase.

But when mysterious teen rebel J.D arrives as the new kid, Veronica realises that while it might kill to be a nobody, its murder being a somebody.

The musical screening was recorded live in The Other Palace, the original West End home of the musical.

It features music and lyrics by Tony Award-nominated Laurence O’Keefe (Legally Blonde composer) and Emmy-winner Kevin Murphy (Madness author). It is directed by Andy Fickman and choreography is done by Gary Lloyd (Thriller Live).

Heathers: The Musical is rated as a 15 and will be screened at Mwldan at 7pm on Sunday, July 9 and Saturday, July 15.
