A WEST Wales artist will be unveiling her latest series of paintings.

Helen Elliott, from Newcastle Emlyn, will be unveiling her latest set of paintings at the Teifi Waterside Hotel in Poppit – the perfect place to host them as the paintings are inspired by the captivating landscapes and glorious surroundings of the Teifi estuary, with the hotel located on the edge of said estuary.

During the evening, there will be a chance to find out about Helen’s creative process, explore the stories behind the artwork and the inspirations that breathe life into Helen’s ‘happy pictures.’

“I hope you’ll smile at the vibrant scenes of dogs playing on warm sandy beaches, boats gently sailing along the estuary, picturesque villages nestles amidst lush greenery, and the spectacular blooming great beauty of flowers that adorn the landscape, and my kitchen table,” said Helen.

There will be a Q&A session as well as Helen said: “During the Q&A session, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with me directly and gain insights into my work.

"Ask me about my creative techniques, the significance of the Teifi estuary in the work, or anything that sparks your curiosity… I reserve the right to say I don’t know!

"But I hope this intimate interaction will deepen your appreciation for the artistry and love that goes into each painting.

“The evening promises to be a celebration of joy, shared moments, and the magic that art brings to our lives.

"To add to the delight, we will also be serving a selection of local cheeses and wine, perfectly complementing the visual feast that awaits you… (sorry that was cheesy…).”

Helen Elliott will be unveiling her latest series of paintings at the Teifi Waterside Hotel on Thursday, July 6. Doors open at 6pm with a 7pm start.

Tickets cost £16.50 per person and can be bought from the hotel directly at https://teifiwatersidehotel.co.uk/contact-us
