THESE Ceredigion residents all admitted breaching community or sexual harm prevention orders.

Sam Knight, 40, of Church Street, New Quay, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of the sex offenders register at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on May 5.

He admitted that on March 20, he failed to notify police of his change of address within three days as is required by the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

He was ordered to pay £184 fine, £74 surcharge and £85 costs.

Danielle Amy Jones, 28, of Rhydlewis, Llandysul, admitted breaching a community order at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on May 18.

She admitted that she failed to attend an unpaid work date on March 16 and a probation appointment on April 17, in breach of the order placed on her by the court on January 26.

Her suspended sentence order for the initial offences of two counts of assaulting an emergency worker by beating and four counts of theft was varied. Her new sentence is 18-weeks in prison suspended for 24 months and carry out 10 hours of unpaid work.

Owen John Haynes, 20, of Cilgerran, admitted breaching a community order at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on May 17.

He admitted that he failed to comply with a community order put in place by Llanelli Magistrates Court on February 10 this year.

He admitted that he failed to keep in contact with his probation practitioner between March 16 and April 17 and failed to attend an appointment as instructed on April 24. He also failed to provide acceptable evidence for missing the appointments within five days.

He was ordered to pay £60 fine and £60 costs and the order was to continue.

Gary Mathewson, 52, of Castle Lane, Aberaeron, admitted breaching a community order at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on May 17.

He admitted that he failed to attend planned probation appointments on March 28 and April 14, in breach of the order that was placed on him by the court on June 15, 2022.

He was ordered to pay £50 fine and £60 costs. The order was extended to December 14 and is to continue.
