These four men have been banned from the roads after being caught driving under the influence of drugs.

Nathan Pearson, 26, of Golwg y Castell, Cardigan, admitted two charges of drug driving at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on May 3.

He admitted that on January 5, he drove a Ford Transit on Castle Street, Cardigan, when he was over the drug drive limit with 2.4 microgrammes of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol and 59 microgrammes of Benzoylecgonine in his blood.

He was banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay £150 fine and £85 costs.

George Robinson, 22, of Maes Glas, Cardigan, admitted drug driving at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on May 3.

He admitted that on January 6 he drove a BMW 116 on the A484 Llechryd when over the drug drive limit with 4.4 microgrammes of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood.

He was banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay £120 fine and £85 costs.

Samuel Smith, 18, of Blaenporth, admitted drug driving at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on May 4.

He admitted that on January 15 he drove a Ford Fiesta on the A475 Newcastle Emlyn when over the drug drive limit with 67 microgrammes of Benzoylecgonine in his blood.

He was banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay £120 fine, £48 surcharge and £85 costs.

Nicholas Thomas, 39, of Heol-y-Bryniau, Merthyr Tydfil, admitted drug driving at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on May 3.

He admitted that on January 8, he drove a Toyota Hilux on the B4342 New Quay when he was over the drug drive limit as he had 218 microgrammes of Benzoylecgonine in his blood.

He was banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay £416 fine, £184 surcharge and £85 costs.
