CARDIGAN’S RNLI lifeboat station held a joint exercise with the Coastguard rescue helicopter from St Athan on Wednesday evening (June 20).
Both of Cardigan’s lifeboats - the Atlantic-class and inflatable D-class - were launched from their Poppit Sands base and took part in various exercises and simulations with the helicopter.
The aim of the exercise was to enable all the crews to work together and practise the procedures that would be needed in the case of an incident happening in the area.
