Family and friends heard with profound regret of the death, which occurred peacefully at Glangwili Hospital on Wednesday, of Mrs. Lynda Mary Wilson, Gwynfryn, Napier Street, Cardigan, aged 58, after a long illness courageously borne.
A native of the Llandysul area she had lived in Cardigan for many years, and up until her retirement was landlady of the Grosvenor Hotel.
Grandmother Mrs. Wilson leaves her husband Alf, stepson Richard, stepdaughter Elizabeth, a sister and four brothers to whom sympathy is extended.
The funeral was held yesterday (Monday) with a public service at Carmel Chapel, Prengwyn, Llandysul.
There were no flowers, but donations in lieu, if desired, to Glangwili Hospital, c/o funeral director Colin Phillips, Hyfrydle, Gwbert Road, Cardigan.
