PUPILS at Ysgol Gynradd Brynsaron started their Easter celebrations early by taking part in an Easter bonnet and egg decorating competition run by the Friends of Brynsaron School (PTFA).
Children and families had great fun creating a colourful collection of beautiful bonnets and excellent eggs. The competition was judged by head teacher, Mrs Elen Davies, who awarded each of the winners with a certificate and tasty Easter egg prize.
The lucky winners were:
Best Easter bonnet: 1 Lowri Davies, 2 Ryan Newham, 3 Holly Barber.
Best decorated 2D egg: 1 Cassia Land, 2 Robyn Bristow, 3 Harvey Jukes.
Best 3D egg: 1 Cai Thomas, 2 Oliver Phillips, 3 Piper Thomas.
To celebrate the end of a busy term, the Friends of Brynsaron School then held an Easter disco for all the children to enjoy. It was a great atmosphere with the school hall filled with balloons, party tunes, disco lights and Easter bunny face painting for all.
