Acrobats and high flying circus tricks could soon be a feature in Cardigan's Small World Theatre with the help of a dizzying cartwheel fundraiser.

The theatre is well known as an exciting venue, designed to be environmentally sustainable, it has a huge round internal main space which could be perfect for flying in.

Recent developments have highlighted that the venue’s unique shape makes it perfect for rigging for aerial physical theatre.

The organisation has decided that it’s time that people of all ages and abilities should benefit from liberating training in trapeze, corde lisse and silks.

They will be collaborating with Nofitstate circus to provide teaching opportunities in the future.

Small World is applying for funding to rig the building, but it also needs to buy expensive specialist equipment such as mats, harnesses, ropes, yoga slings and silks. Local families living near Cardigan and their friends are so excited by this idea that they have risen to the challenge and launched their own fundraising campaign.

Please support their latest fundraising event through www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/Cartwheelsforflying.

The groups of locals will be cartwheeling across the Preseli Hills from Foel Drygarn to Carn Menyn on October 26.

Every penny counts as they tumble towards their target of £3000.
