Mark Williams helped cut the ribbon to open the room whilst Elin Jones launched the centres new website.

After the ceremony parents, children and visitors were invited to try out the new sensory room and explore the centre in cardigan.

Elin Jones AM said: "So many families over the years have benefited from Jig So's creative and dedicated work. I was delighted to launch the website which will bring their activities -including the excellent new sensory room - to a wider audience."

Mark Williams commented: “I am delighted to open this facility and commend Jig-so for the excellent work they do in Cardigan, and for their outreach work in the surrounding area.

"Jig-so’s ethos is very much about creating opportunity and inclusion for young people and giving them the very best start in life, and the fantastic facilities which Jig-so offer at Cardigan to the local community are the result of much hard work from many dedicated people.”

Linda Grace, Chair of Trustees explained that this grant will help make a difference to the lives of children and young people of mixed abilities.
