A CEREDIGION man pleaded guilty at Swansea Crown Court to causing death by careless driving under the influence of drink.
Gareth David Entwhistle, aged 34, pleaded guilty to the charge after Miriam Briddon died following a collision near Cilau Aeron in March 2014.
Miriam, 21, the driver of the Fiat Punto involved in the crash and a former pupil of Ysgol Dyffryn Teifi, tragically died at the scene.
Entwhistle, who was driving a VW Golf, also pleaded guilty to driving whilst over the limit.
He will appear back in court on July 27.
