Pembrokeshire Tourism is hosting a Breakfast Bake Off to celebrate Farmhouse Breakfast Week.
On Wednesday January 28 members of the county’s leading tourism association will be taking part in a head to head bake off where they will be asked to create their own unique breakfast dish for judges.
The purpose of the national ‘Shake up Your Wake Up’ campaign is to raise awareness of eating a healthy breakfast whilst encouraging the use of fresh local produce.
Pembrokeshire Tourism’s Breakfast Bake Off which will take place at Vic North’s Cookery School in Llechryd, is aimed to be a fun social event for members as well as an opportunity for Pembrokeshire Tourism to promote and encourage the use of Pembrokeshire Produce.
Each of the individuals taking part in the Bake Off will have to make their own breakfast dish within a one hour period which will later be independently judged on creativity, appearance and taste.
Gemma Thomas PR and Communications Officer at Pembrokeshire Tourism said: “We are really excited to be holding a Bake Off exclusively to our members. At Pembrokeshire Tourism we provide PR opportunities to our members on a regular basis, and the Bake Off is no exception. What better way to get your business recognised than be known as the Pembrokeshire Breakfast Bake Off Champion!”
Entries are open to members of Pembrokeshire Tourism until January 21 at 4pm, three participants will then be picked at random to take part in the Bake Off.
