Members of the public will have an opportunity to learn more about the new Cardigan Integrated Resource Centre and discuss the findings of the Mid Wales Healthcare Study on January 19.

Hywel Dda University Health Board has organised a drop in session, 5.30pm to 6.25pm at the Small Word Theatre in Cardigan focused on the Cardigan Integrated Resource Centre.

The event will provide a chance to learn about the latest progress with the development and the new model of care in Ceredigion.

At 6.30pm a public event will be held to discuss the findings of the Mid Wales Healthcare Study that recommends Bronglais General Hospital is developed as the hub hospital for mid Wales and suggests ways to improve primary care and community services. Attendance for the public event will be on a first come first served basis.

The independent study was requested by the Welsh Government and published in October by the Welsh Institute for Health and Social Care.
