Small World Theatre have finally got round to launching their FRIENDS annual membership 2015 - 2016. Joining the scheme and supporting Small World is a wonderful, social and supportive thing to do at a time when the arts are suffering from severe funding cuts and independent arts organisations like theirs are struggling to keep going.

Sam Vicary, Marketing Officer said "Small World Theatre is completely unfunded as a venue and we work tirelessly to deliver a programme of events and workshops that will entertainment, inspire and educate. Throughout the year we earn enough money to pay the bills and support our work, but right now we need the community's help."

Becoming a FRIEND has benefits too, such as free entry to one Small World event a year, special FRIENDS events and invitations to Private Previews. Members can take credit for supporting an amazing, entertaining programme with a focus on arts and sustainability, and know that Small World Theatre will continue to work with talented and gifted theatre practitioners, musicians, poets, storytellers, jugglers, makers, speakers, inspired campaigners, emerging artists, film makers and workshop leaders.

"We launched our £25 FRIENDS membership scheme on 17 December and immediately we had responses from some of our regulars. Its lovely knowing how much support we have and that this organisation has a place in the heart of the community."
