Coleg Ceredigion have made a stellar effort this year to raise money for Children In Need.

With many students and staff at both campuses donning superhero costumes, this year has proven one of the liveliest schedule of activities they’ve put together for the charity.

Activities at the Cardigan Campus included a charity football match between Brickwork and Carpentry Students; Hair and Beauty department doing face painting and nail decoration; a staff and student doughnut eating competition (with doughnuts kindly provided by Tesco); a “Guess the amount of kindling in a sack with the Furniture Design department; a cake stall by the Vocational Access students; a raffle by the General Education students; a car wash and winter service check service by the Motor Vehicle Engineering department; and a logo design competition and guess the amount of calories in a jar of sweets competition by the Information Technology department.

And to top it all off, staff and students went head to head to pit their wits in a general knowledge quiz with staff only narrowly coming out as the victors.

The total raised in Cardigan so far is over £600.
