Members of the Cardigan Clandestine Cake Club recently met for a Harvest Festival evening at the Vic North Cookery school in Manor Deifi. The group of keen bakers rustled up beautiful harvest sheaves, made out of a sweet dough, complete with plaited tie and inquisitive mouse. Donations were made on the night to raise money for the Wales Air Ambulance charity. A total of £30 was raised and cost of ingredients were donated by the cookery school.
While not an official Clandestine Cake Club meeting, a great time was had by all as we flexed other baking muscles and learnt some new techniques. If you would like to find out more about the Cardigan Clandestine Cake Club, please visit the website for further details www.clandestinecakeclub.co.uk
