A Newcastle Emlyn man has denied assaulting a police officer and damaging his watch.
Benjamin Mattocks, aged 20, of Pantycoed, Capel Iwan, pleaded not guilty to assaulting PC Gary Williams in the execution of his duty and damaging his wrist watch in Cardigan on August 10, when he appeared before Aberystwyth magistrates on Wednesday.
A trial date was listed for November 27, and Mattocks was released on unconditional bail.
