A pair of north Pembrokeshire women recently took on the Thames Path Challenge for charity.
Anita Bean from Boncath and Claire McNamara from Cilgerran completed the 100km walk which started at Putney Bridge in London, and took place on September 13 and 14.
Anita, a primary school teacher at Fenton School Haverfordwest, and Claire who works for Adventure Beyond in Cardigan, started walking at 8am on Saturday morning and got to the finish line at 11.15am the following day, after walking for more than 27 hours.
The walk followed the Thames through Kew, Richmond, Windsor, past Hampton Court and finishing in Henley on Thames.
Anita has raised approximately £1,000 for OcuMel UK, a charity supporting people with cancer of the eye and their families, and Claire has raised more than £400 for Shalom House, St Davids.
