A man is to stand trial accused of burgling a café in the centre of Aberaeron.

Marcus Aaron Yeldham appeared before Judge Paul Thomas at Swansea crown court on Friday, via video link with Cardiff prison for a plea and case management hearing.

Yeldham, aged 34, denied breaking into the Cegin Alban café in Bridge Street between May 4 and May 17 and stealing a plastic box and an unknown amount of cash.

Yeldham, who gave police an address in Worthing west Sussex, will stand trial on October 23.

He was further remanded in custody meanwhile.
