We regret to record the death, which occurred peacefully at his home on Friday, of Mr Graham Neil Franklin, Y Storws, High Street, St Dogmaels, after an illness borne with fortitude, aged 74.
A retired florist, he had lived in St Dogmaels for many years, his kind and friendly disposition endearing him to countless friends over a wide area.
Cardigan Rugby Club was especially close to his heart - he served in various capacities, including a term of office as chairman.
He was the beloved and long time partner of Evelyn, and a father, stepfather and brother.
The funeral is being held on Friday with a public service at St Thomas' Church, St Dogmaels at 11am followed by interment in the church cemetery. Enquiries should be made to Colin Phillips, of Funeral Directors Jenkins & Phillips, Hyfrydle, Gwbert Road, Cardigan.
