German TV viewers have had a crash course in Welsh placenames thanks to a programme focusing on Rhosygilwen mansion.
Presenter Christian Dassel and a camera crew from the programme Bustour met with poet in residence Diarmud Johnson who speaks fluent German.
Diarmud gave Christian a quick guide in Welsh pronunciation as well as explaining his role at Rhoysgilwen.
The programme also includes some stunning footage of West Wales scenery.
Rhosygilwen owner Glen Peters said: "We're hoping to get a group of German visitors for our Schubert festival in October from the slot. Now the Bard has got more attention in Germany than in Wales."
