A Pencader woman is to stand trial accused of stealing 34 West Highland terrier puppies.
Rachel Thomas, aged 24, appeared before Judge Paul Thomas at Swansea crown court on Friday for a plea and case management hearing.
She denied stealing the dogs from a farm at Llanfihangel-ar-Arth between October 26 and October 29 last year.
Thomas, of Gwar Coed, Dolgran, Pencader, also denied a charge of receiving the puppies knowing or believing they had been stolen.
Thomas will go through a two day trial, starting on August 20.
She was granted bail meanwhile.
