The community knitted giant Aberteifi Cardigan needs to go into cold storage.
The cardigan - created to celebrate Cardigan's 900th anniversary in 2010 - needs regular freezing to keep moths at bay.
The 2010 committee are looking for a large freezer to house the cardigan for a few weeks before it goes back on display in the town.
