Heavy rain across Wales this week

Natural Resources Wales is advising people to be alert for the possibility of localised flooding across Wales over the coming days as heavy rainfall is forecast.
A band of persistent, heavy rainfall is expected to affect mid, west and south Wales into Thursday morning.
The heaviest of the rainfall is expected to affect western counties during this afternoon.
As the rainfall makes its way into rivers, there is a chance that some flood alerts or flood warnings may be triggered in some areas of Wales.
With fallen leaves still covering the ground, there is also a risk that drains could become blocked, causing flooding to road surfaces.
The forecast remains unsettled, with further bands of heavy rain forecast for later in the week.
People are advised to keep an eye on the Natural Resources Wales website and Twitter feed to keep up to date with the latest flood warnings for their area, as well as listening for updates on local news and weather reports.
Driving conditions may be poor, so people are asked to take extra time and care while travelling.
Flood water is extremely dangerous, and Natural Resources Wales is again reminding people that they should not walk or drive through floodwater, as it can contain hidden dangers.
