THIEVES will be on the lookout this Christmas for easy targets, and Dyfed-Powys Police is asking motorists not to make themselves an attractive option.
“I’m asking motorists to remember to lock up their cars,” said Inspector Rose Ann Lloyd. “Please don’t leave them unlocked when unattended.
“And please don’t leave valuables on show your vehicles. If you’re out Christmas shopping then store those presents out of sight and lock them away in the boot. Thieves will be looking out for an easy target – don’t make yourself one.
“Finally think about parking in well-lit areas and avoid isolated or dimly lit areas. Following these simple steps and you’ll hopefully have a merry and crime free Christmas.”
